Last week, I told you what to expect for the bags, hats and jewelry this fall. This week, even more insights on cold weather accessories coming out this winter:
Peruvian Inspired
Natural fibers and organic fabics capture the spirit of a rustic, Peruvian-inspried trend. Keep warm in style with chunky hand-knit scarves, hats, ponchos and luscious layers of fur and shearling. Also mixed in: Artisan techniques such as whipstitch, applique and hand-painted details.Scarves & Gloves
Look for stencil prints, woven Jacquards and irregular printed stripes on silk and rayon. Oversized rayon oblongs, African and South American prints and motifs make appearances, too. Gloves are styled with with fringe and raw edges, laced up the front in suede and outfitted with distressed leather.Cold Weather Wraps
Wraps come in all kinds of fabrics, from chunky wool to clipped knits to faux and real fur neck rings, fox-tail mufflers, chunky knit stoles, fur and suede ear flap hats and shearling buckets and caps.Legwear
Leg warmers make a return, along with more unusual socks and tights, like Ribbed over-the-knee socks, sweat knit tights and jersey knit leggings. This winter, rock denim stretch leggings, sueded tights and leggings and layered knee socks over seater knit tights.
